The unique Learner Driving Tuition System is a system that has been designed for maximum progress and ease of learning. It is a system where each lesson is carefully planned and follows a set program with clearly defined objectives or “targets.” Where the instructors use professional training materials and modern training methods to ensure your training is both effective and enjoyable.

How many hours will it take?
According to the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) "Those who pass their driving test have had, on average, about 45 hours of professional training combined with 22 hours of private practice."

How many lessons you need will depend upon your individual circumstances; for example, your motivation and aptitude for driving; whether you have had any relevant past experience; and whether or not you can obtain any supplementary practice between lessons with a relative or friend. The following courses described in this Web Site are only a guide to what hours you might need based on average circumstances. It is not a guarantee you will be ready for the test; this will depend upon your individual progress.

The LD Theory and Hazard Perception Test, Home Study Course.                                      In association with the DSA (the people who do the actual testing) LDC have developed this unique and fully comprehensive study package, which includes everything you need to pass both your Theory and Hazard Perception tests with ease. We leave nothing to chance. Even our mock test environment feels like the real thing. Nothing in today's market can compare to this all-inclusive package. The course is designed for you to complete all your studying and preparation on your personal computer or via the more traditional method of pen, paper and books; or indeed a combination of both.

For example, you may decide to read the appropriate sections of the Highway Code as directed by the course program while on your way to college or work but undertake the quiz relating to that topic at home on your PC and so on. The choice is yours. However, please note proper preparation for the hazard perception part of the theory test does require access to a PC, as this part of the theory test cannot be simulated by pen and paper. To help you prepare for the theory test you will be provided with the contents of the Highway Code, the Learner Driving program lesson briefs and certain supplementary notes. All the information needed to pass the theory test is provided in both written and electronic forms. In its electronic form it is cross-referenced to provide a rich and unique learning environment.

Multiple Choice: There are three learning programs you can follow. Each program covers all the official questions in a different way. One program is designed to be used in conjunction with the Highway Code, one to tie in with the early stages of your practical driving tuition (i.e. the Learner Driving program) and one to follow the standard 14 theory categories of the DSA. We have also included a comprehensive mock test environment to help you simulate actual test conditions. Thus, making sure nothing is left to chance.

Hazard Perception: This section contains the official hazard perception practice video clips together with others provided by LDC to provide a fully working mock test environment. 100 very accurate hazard perception test clips are provided in the package. Other video clips are also included to help explain what hazard perception is all about and how the test works. Hazard perception forms an integral part of the Learner Driving training program, which is also included on this disk to show you how the theory should be put into practice on a real driving lesson.
